Lafond Bay

Lafond Bay () is a bay, 3 miles wide, lying south of Cockerell Peninsula, Trinity Peninsula. It was surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) (1960–61), and was named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) after Lieutenant Pierre Lafond, a French naval officer on the Astrolabe during her Antarctic voyage (1837–40).
